City Council Candidate Heather Hall Holds Campaign Launch Event

KANSAS CITY, MO |Tuesday longtime Kansas City resident Heather Hall officially launched her campaign for Kansas City, MO, City Council District 1 at an event at Staley Farms Golf Club.

The event highlighted Hall’s platform of fiscal accountability and public safety.

Clay County Commissioner, Luann Ridgeway spoke to the crowd about why she is endorsing Heather Hall for City Council, “Heather brings high ethical standards to any job and she puts her principles first. We can trust her to stay true to her word.”

Kansas City Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Heather Hall in a recent Lodge meeting. “Heather Hall is the leader we need to move the City forward in reducing crime, and protecting our children, by finding new and innovative ways to ensure that our community is safe,” said Brad Lemon, President of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 99.

“It’s a great honor to receive the support of the Kansas City Fraternal Order of Police. I will be unwavering in my support of public safety funding. The men and women of law enforcement risk their lives to keep our communities safe - we need a City Council that gives them the tools they need to safely do their jobs,” said Hall.

Hall has been a Kansas City resident for 20 years, living in Clay County for 15 years. Hall has more than 25 years of experience in project management, economic development and marketing. She currently works with Clay County Tourism and Economic Development to attract quality jobs and positive growth in the Northland.

“It’s time support local business and entrepreneurs. Their success is vital to a strong Kansas City economy. To achieve this, we need to have citizens on our Council willing to say no to out of control spending and promote accountability within our City,” stated Hall, when asked why she decided to run.

In recent years, the Northland has seen the largest population growth in the Kansas City region. With its growth in size, Kansas City must develop basic infrastructure and promote safe communities.

“In the months to come, taxpayers in the 1st District can expect to see me knocking on their doors, asking for their vote and their support. I look forward to meeting voters and addressing their concerns in City Hall,” said Hall.
